Kevin Ryan works and lives in Tokyo, Japan. He teaches how to use computers in English at Showa Women's University and at the University of Tokyo. His research focuses on Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and Second Language Acquisition (SLA). He enjoys riding his bike about 12 kilometers to work most days, as well as the short ride to the river where he can fly sports kites or play Frisbee. Summers are usually spent near Denver where all of his family have migrated from Chicago.
