History of Tokyo Disneyland

 Even now Tokyo Disneyland is a popular amusement park in Japan. In 1983(S.58), the amusement park like dreamworld opened. In 1985(S.50), Electrical Parade started. In 1991(H.3), one hundred millionth guest came. In 1998(H.10), new attraction, Toon town, released.

  Electrical Parade was started in 1985(S.60), March.9. The parade used five hundred thousand lights and a catch melody. It had continued until 1995(H.7), June.21. But now Tokyo Disney land has Electrical Parade Dream Lights. This parade has 10 hundred thousand lights, in addition the parade is 700 meters. We can see fantastic spectacle.

  Tokyo Disneyland attracted many people in a surprisingly short time. One hundred millionth guest came in 1991(H.3), May. 29. It was only eight years since Tokyo Disneyland opened. Moreover, the time when two hundred millionth guest came was in 1997(H.9). Many people enjoyed the visit to there.

  New attraction, Toon town, opened in 1998(H.10), April.15. Toon means inhabitant in Toon town, that is to say Mickey and Minny and so on. There are every character’s house. We can enter the houses and become theirs guest. This town was made through children’s eyes. So everything is small for adult.

  The parade and new attraction are interesting for us. So Tokyo Disneyland is popular among every generations. We can see only a part of the history of Tokyo Disneyland. Because the history will  continue always.
