How to make Take-tonbo?

Take-tonbo is a Japanese flying toy which is made of bamboo.

 Step


 Prepare the mateterials(bond, rasp, skewer, bamboo-board: length-13mm,        width-90mm, thickness-150mm).


 Drill 2mm hole in center of bamboo-board.


 Chip off the corner of bamboo-board by a rasp.


 Insert the skewer into the hole of bamboo-board.


 Shave off a surface of bamboo-board, and balance right with left.


 Pull out a skewer from bamboo-board.


 Wrap the bamboo-board with aluminum foil, and broil the center of bamboo-board with fire.


 Twist the bamboo-board.


 Insert the skewer into the hole of bamboo-board again, and rotate with hands.

Unite the bamboo-board and the skewer with bond.

 Step


 Prepare the mateterials(bond, rasp, drill, spit, lighter, bamboo-board: length-13mm, width-90mm, thickness-150mm).


 Make a 2mm hole in center of bamboo-board using a drill.


 Cut the corner of bamboo-board using a rasp.


 Put the spit into the hole of bamboo-board.


 Shave off a surface of bamboo-board using a rasp, and keep the balance right and left.


 Pull out a spit from bamboo-board.


 Wrap the bamboo-board with aluminum foil, and broil the center of bamboo-board with fire using a lighter.


 Twist the bamboo-board.


 Put the skewer into the hole of bamboo-board again, and rotate with hands.

Unite the bamboo-board and the spit with bond.
