Numerical Thinking

Numerical Thinking is often called Numeracy. There is a good description of what it means and some interesting problems to solve. See http://www.numeracyresources.co.uk/

Go to:

Week 1: Read about Numeracy and Statistics. Pay special attention to how they are represented in graphs and tables. 

Week 2: Do the Exercises at kevinryan.com

 

Evaluation: Write a 3-paragraph essay with at least ten statistics included.
