Developed for the pre-conference workshop at JALTCALL 2000,

The Internet is seen either a gold mine of information or a jungle in which to get lost. During this afternoon workshop we will explore data-mining techniques to find that gold mine in the jungle. We will start with simple search techniques and go on to site evaluation and then visit some sites I have found particularly useful for language teaching here in Japan. I encourage people planning to attend to email me before the presentation if they have any specific area within EFL they are interested in searching or evaluating. ryan@kevinryan.com
